Once I received the oasis I put it to use filled it up and a month later still no message to refill, definitely worth the buck if you have any humidor. My self I have a cooling and heating needone 33l it works great with temperature but the humidity water basket was just to much work to keep consistent, everyday I was pulling it out or putting it back in. With the cigar oasis litteraly just set you’re numbers and walk away. 70/70 is the golden rule cheers!!

I wish the setup and connection to WiFi was more streamlined and easier. I found some great YouTube video's that help with the setup, but the video's move too quickly and you have to continually start and stop the video. In my experience, I had to do a couple things to get this to work.First of all, it is imperative that you connect this device only to the WiFi 2.4 GHz signal, because it will not work otherwise. My current router did not have the 2 separate signals, so I had to log into the router, and activate the individual 2.4 GHz signal. After that, I had to do a master reset of the Cigar Oasis system to clear everything. I then started from scratch and connected specifically to the 2.4 GHz signal, and it has worked flawlessly ever since. They have also updated the app, which has some good improvements. Right now, I am loving this thing. I am often away for up to 6 months at a time, and to be able to get notified if my device needs more water, is worth the extra price they charge for this thing. I also noticed that the fan in this device, is quieter than ever. Very happy with this thing, although when I first got it, and had lots of trouble connecting, caused quite a bit of unnecessary stress. The only thing that I do not know about, is how the device reacts to power loss, or occasional loss of WiFi signal. I likely will just reconnect, but this wasn't something I had time to experience first hand, so I'm not sure at this point.

I purchased a product and it stopped working within about 60 days. I was so upset I just smashed it and threw it in the trash. If you smoke cigars you understand the frustration. Well I chalked it up to a loss. I was speaking with another Afficanado that advised me to just reach out to the company and see what happens. I sent a semi-disgruntled email and Mary responded and even though I had thrown the equipment away if I sent the proof of purchase she would stand by the product and sent me a shipping label. I dug it out of the trash and sent it in. Two days later she calls me and tells me she has my product and sent over options. You could definately tell she had "Northern spunk" but the experience was more than I ever expected. As long as I'm getting customer service at this level Cigar Oasis will always humidify my cigars.Thus is an update....Right now I am storing my cigars at 62%. The oasis is working properly. The temperature reading is exactly 7° higher than the true temperature. It took me calibrating and using 5 hygrometers to be sure of this. Outside of this the unit works as it should. I should probably have 2 of these in the space (4.5 cf). I wound up installing a 6 inch fan in the cooler because the air just wasn't circulating enough. 4 of 5 stars isn't bad. The product may or may not be for your cigar environment if you need 2 way himidification, but they are very handy to have.

This is a quality piece, I like that the humidity can be adjusted, and I like the digital display. I'm at the start, so it will take a little time to get just the right setting. I am very pleased.

I purchased this quite expensive device a few years ago, I recently got new wifi and tried to connect to it and fat fingered something when entering the information and now the device is locked up and inoperable. I contacted the company and they said there is no way to reset the device. So if you mess up spelling anything when entering info you’re pretty much screwed out of your money. And now you have a useless piece of garbage. They only offer a one year warranty and said there is absolutely nothing they can do to help me. I would give this item a negative star review if I could. Do not purchase this device!!!!

I have a humidor/refrigerator that fits under a counter. I tried various ideas from gel, to water trays, to Boveda packs, and nothing had the ooomph to keep the humidity where I wanted it. So I ordered the Cigar Oasis. I slid the humidor out from under the counter and plugged the Cigar Oasis into the wall behind it, and then slid the unit back into place with the ribbon cable passing through the door hinge. The installation is totally unobtrusive, no visible wires. And the Cigar Oasis does just what it says it does: it blows out humid air, circulates air within the humidor, and has no trouble keeping 3 square feet of space at 70%. Given the simplicity of use and the fact that it just plain works, I should have bought it long ago. I don't use the subscription-based app... cigars are pretty low-tech entertainment anyway, so I don't feel I'm missing out on anything by not hooking it up to a network.

I was a little worried about how much space I had in my humidor. I love it, my cigars are in great shape! Pay attention to your humidor space before you order.

I used this unit to humidify a cigar "wineador" and as far as providing humidity and moving air to prevent stale odors, it worked. But is it better than simpler and cheaper humidification systems? Not.I could not get it to connect to Wifi (at two different sites where 2.4Ghz Wifi works for other IOT devices). So remote monitoring was unavailable to me. Anyway the app is so buggy that it's not worth the subscription price. The internal hygrometer is off by more than 9% RH so adjusting manually was useless. The water reservoir is very generous even in my dry geography. The fact that it's tethered to an external power supply is not a problem for this use because the temp control of the wineador also required power outlets nearby. The main benefit of this unit is that it moves air and has a nice reservoir. The real let-down is that Wifi connectivity and app monitoring have been impossible (for me) so I miss out on the real reason to purchase a unit like this one.
